Guest Trainer: Kino MacGregor
Join the world-renowned yoga trainer for a relaxing Yin Yoga or an energizing Feel Good Flow.
As we continue to expand our yoga offerings, we are thrilled to welcome world-renowned yoga teacher Kino MacGregor to lululemon Studio. Kino will be leading two new classes – Yin Yoga and Feel Good Flow – that focus on traditional flows and poses. She became one of the youngest people ever certified to teach Ashtanga Yoga when she was just 29, and has trained and certified in multiple practices. Yoga, for Kino, is more than just a “workout”— it is a way of life founded on a firm commitment to the moral and ethical precepts of truth, non-violence, and love.
What To Expect
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine with asanas held for longer periods of time than other styles. Advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more. Using props for support, you’lll relax your way into long holds into restorative poses that will leave you feeling renewed and rejuvenated.
Feel Good Flows are designed to meet you where you are and give you what you need to get embodied and feel a harmonious sense of present moment awareness. Flow is at the heart of the practice, connecting breath to yoga poses that are accessible and friendly to all levels. These classes will challenge you at times, but always leave you feeling refreshed.
